Photowalks - during your wedding day I like to take you away for a short time so that we can take some beautiful newlywed photos. This time can be great for a few reasons, but for me it’s nice to simply soak up the naturally occurring and inevitable romance, and big cheesy grins - this is usually the first opportunity (unless your travelling to a second venue) for you, the Bride and Groom to look into each other’s eyes, in peace, and having a few precious moments away from your guests. While I know you love everyone you have invited, it’s nice to have a few minutes and some enjoyable ‘us’ time to take a breath, and soak it all in - for the rest of this amazing day you will be flooded with face to face ‘congratulations’ and ‘you look amazing’ sentiments, which are nice 😊 While for me this time is important as well, it shouldn’t takes masses of time, and I have met a happy couple yet that doesn’t love it. For those magical golden hour, orange sunset looking photos however, you may want to slice this session into two parts - for these images need to be taken about 1 to 2 hours before the sun sets, season and weather permitting. So it’s nice to have a few photos after the ceremony, and a few usually after the wedding breakfast.
