New UK wedding rules from 21st June 2021

So here it is, the new rules from our PM!

I hope this means that people can at least have an decent wedding, even if it is without the usual dance floor action!

(Other updates and info at the bottom of the blog post)

If the wedding I was photographing the weekend just gone is anything to go by, you will - we had an amazing time there and the evening entertainment was da da daaah! Me stopping longer for night photography effects with flares, smoke grenades and steel wool!!

Unexpected by everyone including me, but I was in an experimental mood and was buzzing from the day we were having.

Clear evening sky, sunset, corn field, great company, great food and drink!

Massive shout to Shottle Hall in Derbyshire!! They were exceptional!!.

I hope you end up having a wedding day that was as good as this happy couple had - they did the official ceremony and some photos as we unlocked in April, then we went back to Shottle and had another informal ceremony, afternoon tea, drinks, canapés and an early evening meal, cake cutting, first dance, sunset photos and some others with me and their friends. A good time was had!!

Congratulations Rishi & Amelia!

If you want to see some photos from their day you will have to follow my instagram and wait a few weeks until they have them 🤪

Please do! www.instagram.com/danielburtonphoto

Fingers crossed after the 4 weeks, we are back to no limits!!

Stay strong, stay safe!
