With guidance and routines changing depending on the latest advice, I thought it was important to let you know what I am doing to help to reduce the spread of Covid-19 - this will directly effect you if you are planning to visit my studio, meet with me, or book me for a wedding or other photography service.

As a matter of respect and decency, I will be following the most up to date government guidance to keep me, my family, you, and those I do not know, safe! For me I feel it's my duty as a resident of the UK, a Father, and decent human being to protect and look after myself, and those around me.

MY STUDIO

​

If you are planning a visit to my studio for any reason, this is what you can expect:

The numbered steps are non-negotiable and MUST be adhered to for you and any of your party to be admitted.​

​

1. Clients attending will only be welcomed from the same household (unless they have formed a confirmed bubble) until the relevant government guidance changes. 

2. You must complete the Covid-19 Health Declaration below.

3. Every visiting person will have their temperature checked upon entry.

4. Hand sanitiser MUST be used on entry by ALL parties except newborns/babies.

5. The party lead must provide contact details for contact tracing - I would prefer that the NHS app is scanned using the QR that is on display both in the studio window and inside. This will ensure that I may be alerted should you discover you have been exposed to Covid-19, and vice-,versa. You can easily download the app for free here: https://www.covid19.nhs.uk​

OTHER INFORMATION

​

• You may be asked to remove footwear and outdoor wear (coats) upon entry and placing them in designated area, with shoes on the mat and your coats on the hooks. You can keep your personal items in the same area before moving the the shooting zone. You can see them clearly from the shooting area as this is only a few metres away. 

• I will be using PPE (personal protective equipment) and anti-bacterial hand sanitiser. 

• Touch free hand sanitiser is available for you to use at any time.

• To minimise transmission from touch, only touch surfaces and items in the studio that are essential for you - this will help me to keep the studio more Covid-safe.  

• A process for cleaning between sessions, which may include steam cleaning and the disinfecting of high contact areas.

• Paper backgrounds will be used - where these have been in contact with clients, these will be cut off and disposed of so they are not shared with more that one household/bubble.

• All items of clothing and materials worn or used that belong to my studio will be disinfected and washed after use.

• Any furnishings that are not covered with covers, hard props and flooring will be disinfected and cleaned after use. This includes high contact areas, such as door handles. 

• Social distancing will be in place wherever possible in addition to PPE.

• Please only bring what you need to the session, to keep the space clear and clutter free.

Finally, if you or any member of your household has been unwell with the following: 

 

• cough

• temperature

• a loss in the sense of smell or taste

• or, has been in contact with someone who has, then please let me know as soon as possible, your session will be rescheduled.

WEDDINGS, EVENTS AND WHEN I GO ON LOCATION

WHAT I/WE WILL DO!

​

• I will be wearing PPE in the form of a mask, visor or both.

• I will have used hand sanitiser and will have some on me use regularly throughout the session

• I will adhere to social distancing rules as much as possible. Where it is not, any closeness will be kept to a minimum and will me as brief as possible. This may at times limit my shooting and perspective options.

• While I will attempt to get every shot and scenario that I normally would, this may not be possible if a venue or government guideline specifically prohibit me from doing so. 

• Safety WILL remain the highest priority al ALL times - anything that I (or any member of my team) am not comfortable doing will not be done, Daniel Burton Photography and any associates will not be held liable if this means we miss the shot.

WHAT I/WE EXPECT FROM YOU

​

• That you adhere to all government guidelines so that I/we may work in a Covid-safe environment - this include all hand washing, use of hand gels, sanitisers, masks and the like when possible.

• You make a reasonable attempt to prompt all persons at your event/ session to also follow the guidance. 

• Wear any appropriate PPE to keep me safe when we are not taking photos.

• Cooperate with any requests involving safety and organising members of the session or event. 

• Be honest and respectful at all times.
